Morgan, Bama Rush’s Biggest Call to Action for Change

There is a reason why hundreds of thousands of people rallied behind a single girl with thunderous enthusiasm. From fellow PNMs to non-Greek Gen Xers who have never posted on Tik Tok but were glued to every morning to see that this one girl made it another day.
With the haze of rush so daunting I guess it isn’t obvious to you like it is to us. Morgan is the most special because Morgan is relatable, normal, kind and natural. For everyone of us who went through the factory that created molds that could easily be seen as a certain Greek letter organization only to find the hard truth that no one can hide who they are despite whatever filter or presentation we want the public to see, we wish that we would have had more Morgan’s around us.
It amazes me that the most popular and adored rushee didn’t find a place in any of your houses. Well, at least Morgan found people who love her for who she is and I pray she turns this setback into her greatest comeback, and I pray you all learn how to be more like Morgan. One day you will understand what that means.

People on tik tok don’t love her. Sure they follow her and support her but they were her downfall. I seriously hopes she has an amazing college experience. She got used by these “brands” and for an 18 y/o from problay small town Alabama that is hard to resist. She would have found love in a sorority and sucks for her. It would be nice next year PanHel will say you will automatically be cut if you post before bid day. But in a weird way TT is a way to weed out the insane clout chasers. But sadly Morgan was not that.

Let them post so everyone can see who will not follow guidelines and common sense. Let them out themselves before they dupe a house into welcoming someone who is only into herself and her tt clout.

How was Morgan not a clout chaser? Just because she didn’t present head to toe in designer? She still had her business contacts and PR stuff set up by like day two of recruitment. She knew what she was doing. And it backfired.
And don’t play the “she’s low income so she needed sponsors” card. So low income she has to eat ramen yet somehow she can afford dues at UA? Something’s not adding up here. UA sororities are not for low income people on budgets.

My house dropped her because she was rude to not only the girls who bumped her during Sisterhood, but also other girls in her group. She kept sighing while talking to my roommate and looking around the room. Why on earth would we want her to be our sister? She obviously did not want to be our sister either.

So from what you are saying, it seems like she was feeling nervous... Which is a common response among PNMs in this process. I've heard some of the houses that she visited were straight up ignoring her, which probably compounded her anxiety. Your current tone sounds judgmental as hell, which doesn't align with the attitude that sisters should exhibit. Get some empathy.

My friend spoke to her in philanthropy rounds and she insinuated that they didn’t care about their philanthropy and only had events to take cute pics for social media. She was dropped because of it.

She had her business manager's email in her TT bio. She then, based on that awful Brandis's urging put her VENMO in her bio. She did a live with the equally awful Grant. She did an interview with Teen Vogue during recruitment (the don't talk to the media rule has been in place for literal decades). She was dismissive of houses and the process in multiple TTS and now word is she was also rude to people in her rush group and in the houses. I don't care how much a bunch of people whose lives this doesn't affect at all love her, she was a liability from the start.

Being rude is never okay! I don’t get people who are defending her behavior. Would they hire someone like this for their company? She couldn’t take the time to learn how to pronounce the name of an organization or to be respectful to the people she was interacting with during recruitment? These are just common rules of behavior that everyone should follow!

I think she rushed for the sole purpose of getting TikTok famous. She never cared about the sorority. You can tell the ones who are in it and the ones who aren’t.
