sorority bigs how does it work

how do bigs work? i am assuming i’m getting a bid tomorrow so will the girl holding my sign be my big? my sisters school does not do the signs with each girls name and the new girls have sister dates with the girls who want a little and then they rank each other and then have a reveal. is it the same here?
