Kylan was humble (which I know is weird to say now, but back then she was just super sweet and seemed excited, didn’t really capitalize on her fame until after bid day) and did not act above anyone else, would gush and say she met great girls, etc. But Morgan was constantly acting above it all with mispronouncing houses/panhellenic even after corrected, got a cake for 100k, interviewed with teen vogue, got thousands of dollars sent through venmo, etc. Mostly just seemed way more excited for the fame but seemed like she thought she was above sororities and girly girls in general. Kylan seemed excited for sorority life and very into it, Morgan seemed like she couldn’t have cared less.

Kylan didn’t have a party for 100k followers, do an interview with Teen Vogue or go to a brand event in the middle of rush.

Kylan got dropped by all the top houses for the same reason. Zeta gave her a chance but she has been really embarrassing to their chapter. No chapter wants to become a joke on Barstool. They may pull back from girls like that this year. We will see.

There is a downside that comes with taking a social media girl. It opens up the chapter, and the members, to unwelcome attention and downright negativity, and often the girls are not serious about being a good sorority member, or even being a college student at all. The bad is way worse than the good you get for having these members. OR houses saw that early on but other houses disregarded it over their thirst to get the IT girls. Now they are seeing first hand why, and are more cautious. If a pnm won't stop posting for rush, it is obvious what she's really about.

We all know this is the @bamarush account. You literally just said you were going to go to greekrank and ask. There’s an ENORMOUS difference between Kylan/other PNMs and Morgan. The PNMs are strongly advised to STAY OFF TIKTOK. Not only did Morgan disregard that (whatever, lots of other girls did too), she was scelebrating her number of followers and went as far as to do a freaking TEEN VOGUE INTERVIEW, DURING recruitment. Anyone would’ve gotten dropped for that. She was being disrespectful to all the sororities the entire week by intentionally mispronouncing Panhellenic, “phi,” etc. despite being corrected over and over again. Even though her family obviously has money, she kept trying to pretend like they were this poor family living in squalor. The girl was wearing freaking golden goose, expensive doc martens, etc. all week. She was acting like she didn’t know how to pronounce lululemon (as an 18 year old girl is 2023? Give me a freaking break), and saying “free the people” instead of free people. She was doing all of that to sound relatable, but anyone with any brain cells could tell it was an act bc she knew what she needed to do to go viral on TikTok for rush. She refused to put ANY effort into her appearance and acted like she above all of it and above everyone all week. Get real. Tell all of your middle aged followers who never even went to college to just stop speaking on something they have no clue about.

Bama Morgan didn’t act like “not like other girls” she showed her true self it’s sad that she got punished for it. Godforbid.
