These old ladies need to stop
by: SmhIt actually infuriates me how these middle aged women are on tik tok making up fake sororities and acting like recruitment at bama is some tv show. No this isn’t season 3. There are no seasons because again this isn’t a show. Why are they talking about 18 and 19 year old girls? Talking about what house they think they’ll get as if they know the process or the houses? Also weirdest of all why are these women making tik toks saying if this girl doesn’t get a house or whatever we should go storm the sororities? Like that’s pretty much a threat and terrifying. This whole thing has just blown out of control and is so odd.

This is so dramatic. There’s thousands of girls going through rush and maybe what 20 of them have moderate traction online. Please stop acting like rush tok is some epidemic. Either pnms can stop feeding the crazies online with content or everyone can stop complaining. Either way the world will not end. There are plenty of people in the the country who don’t even know what rush tok is or don’t care. We need to all get over ourselves.

Full disclosure, I am a mom. My daughter is a sophomore at a different SEC school - and she's sent me tik tocs of their work week. Blast me if you must for being a parent.
That being said - I am appalled and disgusted by this large blonde woman and Grant (I know who Grant is because my daughter went through recruitment last year) making tic toks of 19/20-year-old girls AND RATING THEM for their kicks and grins.
These young women are brave enough to put themselves out there - not only by going through one of the most rigorous recruitments in the country but also by braving social media.
It is one thing for their peers to comment - but when she and her sideshow are putting on live tic toks and Instagrams and holding up photos of these young women - who frankly already have more class and grace in their little finger than she does in her 50+ years on this planet - it is truly pathetic.
She is a sad, pitiful woman who needs a hobby.
I hope she sees this - not that she has enough grace to care.
