Bars once you pledge I heard many have strict rules

stop replying to yourself bc you clearly don’t go here — every. single. sorority. has. the. no. bar. rule. they all also have the no elevated surface rule. adpi used squirt guns on their girls at swaps when they were misbehaving. you’re not allowed upstairs in the frats. you’re not allowed to hold a beer can or any alcohol can — it has to be in a cup. those cups and alcohol aren’t allowed on social media. some houses have a weird smoking rule where if you’re smoking a cigarette/cigar you have to be seated with your legs crossed. these might seem like stupid rules in your teens, but when you graduate from college you’ll be thankful that your sisterhood had your best interest in mind. they’re trying to save you from embarrassing yourself — which would also embarrass them. i know it’s hard to think logically before your frontal lobe is developed but try to understand that these rules are in place to benefit you in the long term.

because no one is dumb enough to share that about themselves on the internet for fame… you were underage drinking. end of story. that shouldn’t be something you tell the whole world when you’re still not of legal drinking age. this was alpha phis whole point with social media liability risks. she just looks stupid, and she’s still friends with girls in the sorority? so…

i’ve put x’s on my littles hands when they were 1.) old enough to go to the bars because you have to be 19, not 18. and 2.) after initiation. after you’re initiated, it’s free reign besides social media — which is a given in any house.

2/3 rule is in most old row houses — especially phi mu. 2 of the 3 have to be done every day.
1. hair
2. makeup
3. outfit (not sweatpants)

the thing is, it doesn’t matter. it’s not a good look to be at bars every night the first 3 months of college. that’s how a lot of people get carried away and skip classes and fail out. they are trying to set up a good foundation for these girls to build themselves up on. it’s really a short amount of time in the grand scheme of things
