Surprised by houses

These are both great houses. I have friends in both. They're both pretty low drama and don't really promote on here so they can end of being an easy target on here. TBH I don't think most of them really care -- great sisterhood, great social events. . .don't need the drama.

i will be honest, i'm very intimidated by the old row houses. i am very familiar with greek life since i'm from texas and my sisters were in sororities at ut and tcu but it's crazy and overwhelming! i can tell i wont fit in with phi mu which i was surprised by, but they are really cute and nice! same with axo and chi o. the new row houses are also so nice, and i can tell there is a difference between the OR and NR houses. i loved pi phi, adpi and alpha phi. zeta dropped me so i didn't get to know them much which made me kind of sad!

Wow - you experience is so much like min...OR were a bit intense acting for me. PM - they were nice but I felt there was a level of fakeness. I felt like pi phi adpi and dz were down to earth (IMO) DG is full of sweet girls too.

I’ve liked all of the houses I’ve gone to so far…most surprised by:
XO - loved the house and the girls I talked to, very welcoming
DG - liked them more than I thought I would based off this site. So sweet
PBP - had fun in this house, they seem laid back
ADPi - also super sweet and down to earth, seemed to be a good sisterhood

I didn't have XO - but had the other above houses and agree with your descriptions. I also had AXO and they were a lot of fun...I also had Gphi and they felt genuine to me.

I'm from far OOS and was happy to get AXO, DDD and Kappa back! Along with some NR houses.
Loved all 3 but don't really see myself at DDD. Really enjoyed AXO and had a great conversation there.
From NR I got cut from a few places I thought I would like: ADPi, GPhi and DZ. I would have liked a chance to go into those houses but it's ok.
I'm really liking DG but also surprised at how comfortable I felt at Theta. APhi was cool but I don't think it was for me.
I have PiPhi SK and AOPi today.

Trust your heart and go with the exact ranking you came up with. That scenario you gave where ranking another house lower causing them to drop you doesn’t happen. AOPi won’t drop you because you ranked them lower, they will either keep you or release you based on whether they think you’re a good fit for their house.

1. "College Isn't for her"
2. "Partying almost everday.. so it's waste of her parents money so she chosen to leave"
Aka: she was definitely flunked classes and her parent said, u ain't waste are money no more.. you're done 🤣...

I was really surprised by my houses . For or I went to kd and reallly really liked them . For new row I loved aopi but I keep listening to tent talk but remember reading on here not to let boys dictate what good houses are or not. Ugh I actually feel sick. I say all this but maybe they will drop me after this round. I thought zta had pretty girls but definitely not the sisterhood for me but that may change if they invite me back . I liked pi phi too they were pretty too but more chill .

If YOU like aopi, then rank them high. This is YOUR rush. Who cares what girls are saying about them or any other house. Trust me, if you don't go with your own heart and gut, you will not be happy later on in a house that you don't fit into. Be true to yourself. YOU are all that matters.

Base it off how YOU feel. It’s about friendship and not what other people think! it is YOUR experience…sometimes when girls get to campus they feel super connected to the people they meet right away but you might not even wind up friends with those girls in a few weeks after recruitment is over and you’re in different houses. You will see what I mean. Go with your heart.

I thought DG seemed like really genuine sweet girls and Kappa seemed more chill than some of the other houses.
