philanthropy round
by: houseWho did everyone get back for Philanthropy round? I got back a lot of houses I like but was dropped by a couple I loved. Excited for the next few days!

EVERY house makes cuts after Round 1. Houses with a bigger return rate (based upon the previous year) have to make bigger cuts than houses with a smaller return rate. But every single house makes cuts. SK, AOP, Theta don't invite back everyone. If girls are saying that, they are wrong. They drop girls, just not the same percentage.

Even the pnms know not to mention Zeta or APhi or they might get hate. Recently there were entire days devoted to anti-zeta and anti-aphi hate threads. So pnms are keeping their mouths shut. I don't blame them.

After reading your statement,and because of all the bullying Zeta gets, I went back to the beginning of the thread. Zeta is listed on about half the lists. So….go back and look.

I was shocked I got 10 houses back, but so happy. Very disappointed I got cut from Chi O and AGD bc I felt I would love it there but got invited back to AXO and I love their philanthropy. I volunteered at a DV shelter last year so I want to talk about that experience.
I also got back APhi, Theta, PiPhi, DDD,Kappa, DG, AOPi, ADPi and SK.
Random but I am honestly loving AXO and DG the most. I also really liked Kappa but I'm not getting my hopes up.

Your houses were VERY similiar to the ones I had. AXO and Kappa were my two favorites. They both dropped me after sisterhood. I was confused as I felt I could see myself in both. Good luck to you!

Why are y’all hating on these girls that are posting what houses they got back? Why would they lie about that when this website is completely anonymous? What would they have to gain from that? If you’re going to judge how pnms FEEL about what houses they did or didn’t get back, you obviously didn’t go through rush. It’s normal to be excited, disappointed, overwhelmed, or any other emotion during rush. Stop being mean to these girls

The reason they make up lists is to make a house look either lower or higher than it actually is by grouping it with more or less selective houses. Sororities want PNM’s to think their house is high and their competition is low. They use every post on this site to make things up to help their cause. This is the way rush works.

Of course those houses can drop PNMS but if they do, it's (1) a very small number and (2) probably for reasons that other houses will also drop for (grades, major red flags). They can also drop QRs, etc. but again, that's a small number and it would be weird that ONLY SK knows about a QR and all the other houses haven't heard the same tea
