Social calendar for NR houses

Yes absolutely! All houses have a similar experience. The only real difference might be the fraternity your house knows better. Otherwise, it’s all the same.

the "top houses" at bama are going to be different than the top houses you are used to seeing at the colleges in your area especially since you mentioned pac12. some of the OR top houses are known to not party much at all, whereas a lot of NR houses are known to be more social. (don't get me wrong there are OR houses who DO go out and have good relations with frats who have amazing events so it depends on where you go! but the more conservative houses are OR)
OR is top and sought after because a lot of girls from bama (or even just from the south) want those houses. they have a high retention rates. not getting an OR house does NOT mean you won't have a social life. in fact if that's what your focus is you might want to just solely focus on the NR houses because you might not get the same thing in OR depending on what you are looking for. NR will have more of a mix of girls from all over so you will definitely find social girls and also girls who like to stay in

certain sororities will socialize with certain frats but all houses have a great social experience! you'll be able to keep busy wherever you end up

I have a friend in a house considered “bottom tier” and they have a ton of social events and parties. Don’t think these dumb tiers really matter after rush.

I’m an out of state girl in an OR house, I promise it happens all the time. Don’t believe GR trolls. Wait until you go to the OR houses, you’ll meet lots of out of state girls. You can end up in any house, what’s important is that it’s the right house for you and you have a great experience
