Coming from an oos pnm
by: PnmI feel so much better getting settled into my dorm and seeing campus in person. Watching tik tok this week has shown me that all of the sororities here look amazing. I know I shouldn't have been on this site at all, but it's hard to not look, esp coming from out of state. Now I feel like watching all of the houses dancing and having a good time I couldn't even tell them apart! like the houses that I always see at the bottom of the ranks like DG, Theta, AOPi and even SK have tons of fun and pretty women. It's definitely made me more excited to go through rush!

I have seen an occasional post like that on here...but there is so much bashing that happens, I was surprised to see how different it is in person.
I was really nervous going into rush bc the only people I know who have joined sororities are from up where I live, and the vibe is really different. My friend who graduated before me said there were only 20 girls in her pledge class which was their normal size! I knew I wanted to Rush at Alabama bc I want to be able to meet a lot of people and have a built-in social calendar. But I'm starting to see that I might really like it and I'm feeling excited.
