a pnm’s reason to rush

Hi ♥️ I hope you have a great rush but I want to put it out there: being in a sorority is not going to magically fix all your problems. Yes, it will help you socialize and meet some new people, but it can also be a stressful environment.

I can promise that what you see on tik tok and Instagram is not the full picture. Plenty of those girls feel sad and depressed when the camera isn't on them.

Sorority life has been the best thing to happen to me, so I get it. I hope you find that too, and join one and get a handful of best friends that you love and is your tribe and you make each other happy. But no one is happy 24/7. That's not realistic. Nothing in life can offer that. But what it can offer is a fresh start into a new world. It will work as long as you are realistic.

it's definitely not your last chance at being happy. joining some clubs or even taking a part time job are also ways to make friends. talk to people you woulnd't normally talk to. take initiative and invite people to get coffee or get manis (or another low pressure activity). don't get discouraged if you need to go back to the drawing board-- it's a process.
