Does $$ matter?

Do I have a chance of getting into a top house if I’m not rich? I know I can afford dues bc I saw $$ online but I wouldn’t say I’ve got wealthy parents. Will that keep me from getting a top house?

So sad you have to feel freaked out about how much money your parents have. Be confident. In the end, if a house snubs you because of your parents you are doing yourself a favor in not belonging.

Come on people sororities are businesses. There are many factors that come into play. No one will totally snub you if you are not wealthy and you can get in countless houses without having money. I will say though I have heard talk about gpas, part-time jobs, travel, wealth of family, looks, pageants, clothing brands, country clubs and much more when it gets down to discussions.
