^ so true. Why would you be devastated to end up in a better house with a better reputation, better swap schedule and more invites to top fraternity formals?
You should be devastated if you get dropped by the 7 top houses and end up in #8 Zeta.

Maybe those girls who are so completely invested in tiktok and ig could be offered a different kind of sorority membership, you know, like an online degree. They pay for the privilege, but for a distance membership only instead of being on campus. If social media is how they want to live their lives then all they need is a virtual sisterhood.

It’s crazy to think Zetas spend $15,000 a year on sorority fees and half drop out by senior year. The rest do absolutely nothing with it. That’s not what sororities were founded for.

@Yep - You do understand that probably 80% of women get very little benefit from their sorority once they leave college right? I mean you will have the friends you made. But beyond that it is just sort of a an interesting conversation piece.
Now the skills you learn in Rush Week, those you'll use your whole life.

I can assure you that zeta is by no means a top house. They got a lot of attention from girls like Kylan and her friend group. But the truth about zeta is that it is a last resort house for in-state girls with bad high school reputations who can't get in an old row house.

^^^ This. But it’s more than just in-state. Zeta is NOT a top house and now matter how many of them come on here and make fake ranks showing them near the top, it’s just not true.
You’ll see once you’re here on campus after bid day and see which girls pledged where.

'Pretty' has absolutely nothing to do with the kind of person you are, or your values, or your behavior. Does a bad reputation really need to be explained? I guess that's part of the disconnect here.

Lots of sleeping with your pledge sisters boyfriends and I swear this true, sleeping with their dads at parents weekend.
People throw shade at them on campus. Being a Zeta is nothing to brag about. Most girls don’t wear their letters and wear the generic Greek shirts.
