difference between new and old

You get the same Bama greek experience with both, both have great girls. Old Row is usually a little harder to get a bid from and there is some prestige to getting a bid from an old row house. But I really think it matters mostly to southern girls. Girls from OOR probably don't care as much.

There are 7 old row houses and there are different stories about how those houses became old row, but I think it is because the old row fraternities chose them as their favorites a long time ago and it stuck as part of the Bama greek tradition.

OR are houses that tend to recruit more heavily from the South, NR tends to draw more girls from other regions.

Honestly, one is not better than the other. If you were to line up a group of girls from Phi Mu and a group from Zeta I would not be able to tell them apart unless they started talking and I heard their accents.
