gpa during rush
by: bamaif i have a 3.3 gpa should i just not even rush? scared i’ll be dropped by all houses

I'd say no. People say this doesn't happen but some houses are "once cut" always cut. I know my house is hesitant around girls we didn't want the first time. Id try to do fall and spring COB. Especially spring if you can get a good GPA. If none of that works out, then really get a good GPA first year and get involved on campus! Join a club, really anything. Try to make friends in sorority houses, ALL of them. You can do this in your classes, your other involvement. Also if a friend asks you to a date party GO!! DO NOT GET A BAD REPUTATION! THEN try formal when you are a sophomore.

You definitely should still rush and you will not be dropped by all of the houses for having a 3.3!! You can see on the Panhellenic website what the houses typical requirement is! And there are only a few that are a 3.4 or higher and those are AXO, XO, AGD, and I think Phi Mu!

What other pnm's say about their 'full' schedules and what is their truth is usually very different, especially if they are posting on TT a lot. Don't let what anyone else says get to you, a lot of them are lying TBH.
