2023 Rush Ranks and Reasonings

I would like to start out by saying that all houses are good houses and have good girls!! This is based on recruitment #s, retention, grades, how they’re perceived on campus, socials, etc!


Top 5 (alphabetical): AXO, DDD, KKG, PM, XO

These houses get 75% of the girls that they really want!! They all compete for a similar pool of girls!! They all have pretty good grades, although AXO and XO have the highest of these 5! KKG will rush a lot of top in state girls!! And PM and AXO recruit a lot of the same. DDD has a great sisterhood and also a really big mix of girls! XO kind of rushes a little bit of everyone. All of these houses are highly respected! They also all have really good social media.

Next Tier: ADPi, AGD, KD, PIPHI, ZTA

These are all great houses!! AGD has the top grades and involvement, but is known for mostly that. KD recruits a lot of in state girls, but a lot of time loses some top PNMs to KKG. They are known to be very fun and chill! Zeta is obviously known as one of the top houses in terms of popularity/ fame and have a ton of great girls!! They are on the 2nd tier only because they mainly rush a specific type of girl and grades/involvement isn’t as high. ADPI gets a really good mix of girls in recruitment. PIPHI is the top house for a lot of northern girls! They still have a strong southern/ in state population, but they rush a lot of top PNMs from out of state. Have good grades and are definitely on the rise!!

Next Tier: DZ, GPHI, AOPI, DG, APHI

Out of this group, DZ and GPHI are the most wanted. All of these houses have great girls!! DZ is very fun and will get a few top PNMs each year!!! GPHI rushes a lot of the same girls as Pi Phi but doesn’t quite get their pick, but they are known for being very fun! AOPI has a very diverse group of members and has a large out of state population. DG is known for being incredible sweet and having a very strong sisterhood, but don’t quite have the social presence of some other houses. APHI has had some trouble in the past with some scandals and former members coming out about things, but have really seemed to improve the last few years. They will get a few top sororities and have lots of insta/ TikTok famous members. APHI and ZTA rush a lot of similar girls, but many of them will go ZTA.

NEXT TIER: KAT, SK

Both of these houses have great girls, but struggle a bit for one reason or another. KAT gets progressively better every single year, and has a really great mix of girls!!! Their sisterhood is very strong. SK rushes some great girls as well, but struggles mainly because they do not have the large house like all of the others!! Their new house is being built, and I imagine that this will help their recruitment tremendously!!! Both of these houses struggle a bit with retention and grades, but are improving every year!!!


Reminder: PNMs, Nothing that anyone else says about a house matters!! All that matters is how you feel and are treated in a house!! So go with your gut!! All houses really are good houses!!
