If you have any other option besides Alpha Phi, take the other option. They have a terrible reputation on campus and you will get dirty looks if you’re wearing their letters. Their sisterhood is similar to Zeta - lots of drama, in-fighting and girls sleeping with other girls boyfriends.
Sorority life is to expensive and too short to waste it in Alpha Phi. If you want a house that’s trying to focus on looks/social events consider GPhi or DZ if you don’t have PM, PBP or ZTA anymore. If you’re more focused on grades/involvement, look at ADPi, AOPi, DG or Theta. If you have no other option, SK is building itself up quickly and would probably be a better option than APhi.

NR houses with much stronger sisterhoods:
PiPhi, DZ, Theta, DG, SK.
I would say AOpi but they are a bit odd in that they don't require you to do any sisterhood events, attend any meetings, etc. Therefore, they do have a bunch of girls that are members but don't do much with the house. Not requiring everyone to go to chapter is weird one. If you want to be in a house but not be required to do anything, this would be the one for you.
ADPi is also odd. They allow their upperclassman to pay less dues under a wide variety of circumstances and those members don't really do anything with the house. It prevents them from losing a bunch of juniors and seniors.
Gphi has a lot of drama. Half the girls hate the other half of the girls at least at the junior and senior level. I don't know how their nm class last year was. The younger girls may be less dramatic.

AOPi wouldn’t let my roommate drop before spring semester started so she had to pay dues for spring so i wouldn’t recommend

If you have any other recruitment strategy options than posting on GR over and over to try to convince PNMs that Alpha Phi is the top
house here, please use them.
