Especially when the rules don’t apply to certain girls because of favoritism or cliques.

Ex. I could post a pic with a red cup that’s not even mine in the FAR background and get bytched out. But someone else could post a pic of themself straight up beer bonging and no one bats an eye because they’re friends with certain people. So annoying.

omg yes! I had no clue this was a universal experience. I haven’t dropped but this is so so so annoying!!

I almost dropped mine or transferred out several times because of their reputation and the way I was treated because of it. From the first date party I had guys screaming obscenities at me as they drove down university because of my house. That’s a huge negative of Greek like here, if you’re in the wrong house certain people will treat you differently because of it. I wound up staying in the house though and past freshman year people tend to stop caring.

Being OOS, I knew I would have a harder time than others in the sorority world. But I really wanted to be in a leadership position in the sorority. Unfortunately, as is shown on another thread here, most leadership positions go to the local members, even if they aren't the most qualified. I didn't drop, but I've thought about it quite often.
