This is an OR biased rank for old alumnae and their daughters. No doubt, it is their reality and will never change.
For those who don’t know OR from NR without reading GR or having a cheat sheet - it is meaningless.
Old row doesn’t mean “old money”, it doesn’t mean wealthier, it doesn’t mean smarter, it doesn’t mean better connected (only better connected in Alabama and certain parts of the Deep South), it doesn’t mean more attractive, or more social, nor more likely to succeed.
To me, as an alumnae, it only means “old row” as defined and made distinguished many years ago.
Remove the letters and put everyone in a room and talk to them without asking where they are from - and you will never make a distinction.

From someone who spent the past two years working recruitment from the Panhel side this is not really correct. Let's just go off of return rates from recruitment 2022. I know the tik toc creepers would love for everyone to think PM is tippity tops but they aren't and PC22 will effect their recruitment this year. Taking SR is not the flex they thought it would be.

Recruitment return rates are very different than retention. If you were part of Greek life you would understand that.

I agree with that based on houses that are respected on campus and have good sisterhood, but APhi may get more PNM interest/better return rates in the beginning of rush. I don't know that for sure, just suspect it may be the case.
