They have a certain type and a strong recruitment, but I don’t see them ever making it onto the same row with the top four or so old row that have always been top at this school.

I wasn’t talking about ZTA, I was talking about KKG.
I didn’t even notice Zeta. But now that Insee where you put them, they should be down with PBP and ADPi.

ZTA and PBP are the same thing, except PBP has better grades and gets a lot more respect on campus.

And I mean literally no one thinks Alpha Phi is higher than DZ. They’re just not.

alpha phi is strong during recruitment and with pnms. probably because of their “looks” and “popular with boys” brand. the issue is that when that’s your selling point, the girls have no reason to stay in the sorority once they are “in” with the boys. so their great rush matters less when you have to cob girls they probably would cut otherwise. people make fun of the houses focused on grades and involvement, but this is what happens when you focus heavily on the social and looks. you win the battle during rush, but you don’t win the long term war because you’ve got your best girls dropping after you give them access to the boys that will invite them to all the date parties, etc. their pc 22 seems to actually love their house beyond their swap schedule and are involved, so hoping they can break the cycle this upcoming yr. time will tell!

This is so true about Aphi. I know girls from their PC 21 that dropped this past spring that have no beef with the sorority, but they made their friend group from aphi, they’re best guy friends with pikes/pi kapps and don’t care about anything else the sorority has to offer so they dropped. Freshmen girls look up to the older girls and if all the cool ones are dropping Junior yr, it’s not a good cycle.

Move AGD up one row. Moms network in Alabama is strong. They will make their daughters go AGD and not ADPi or Pi Phi.
Switch APhi and ADPi. ADPI mostly prefs with GPhi and DZ.
