All UA sororities are "good." You could have a very high GPA and not get a bid if your resume is lacking or you are awkward with your conversations. GPA's are an easy way for chapters to manage the numbers, but having a high GPA doesn't guarantee anything.
Explain your situation on your registration and hopefully you'll find the perfect sisterhood for you.

What chapters would accept that low of a gpa though?

The official answer would come from Greek Chic. Each sorority page tells you their suggested GPA. The ones that say their suggested GPA is 3.2 or lower are AOPi, APhi, DDD, DG, GPhi, Theta, KD, Kappa Sigma. That doesn't guarantee anything of course, but maybe that means it won't be an automatic cutoff or something at those houses.

Kappa Sigma is a fraternity. I think you mean Sigma Kappa.

I’ll be honest, you may not have any old row on your schedule from the beginning, but you’ll have some great new row options and you’ll find the perfect house. All houses at this school are good!

Look at the other post with the grade report info that lists the houses in order of their GPAs. You won’t make it past philanthropy round with any Old Row houses if you have a 3.2. Realistically your options are going to be:

AOPi, Theta, Sigma Kappa, Gamma Phi and Alpha Phi

Sorry, but grades are really important to getting a bid from a top house. The top just won’t take a 3.2 with the exception of a younger sister of a girl already in the house, a MAJOR legacy, or a bunch of the girls in the house know you and really like you.

Should have studied harder 3.2 girlie!

You’d be better off to skip recruitment and try again as a sophomore. With a 3.2 you’ll be lucky to have 4 houses back for philanthropy and 2 for sisterhood.

She said she was in the hospital. No reason to be demeaning.

put your best foot forward and emphasize connections to any extracurriculars you have! talking about how much you’ve learned and grown from that experience (maybe not round 2, but at round 3 and prefs which are a little more intimate) would actually make you stand out to me as a rusher. 3.2 is not the worst gpa and houses make exceptions more often than ppl on this site say!! be open, friendly, humble, and most importantly, be yourself and you’ll find a home somewhere i promise <3 even if it takes re-rushing and taking the year to build up your college gpa/involvement (tho i think you have a good shot as a freshman pnm !) best of luck :)
