Should You Consider Old Row a Must

by: Some Truth

If you watched the Murdaugh documentaries and said to yourself “I’d love to be part of a social group like those kids (minus the deaths and murders)” then OR is for you.

If you didn’t think that, your options are more open relative to the house you may consider a fit.

If you are here as an pnm and trying to figure out houses and what it may be like before you enter recruitment - take this kind of funny post seriously.

Top houses/Old Row is of importance only to those who “already know”.

Otherwise, you may find it’s the last thing of interest to you.

If you are coming here with aspirations of growing up to be part of the close knit social structure of Birmingham, Mobile or some deep south town - go for it and OR.

But Bama has grown to include people from CA, CO, IL, NY, OH, PA and NJ, as well as
Charlotte, Raleigh, and Atlanta (people with Yankee parents, LOL).

If that’s you, don’t worry about ranks and OR desirability! Your view may put other houses on “top”.

The girl that died in the boating accident was a Zeta.

True - but tasteless and mean. Why drag a girls tragic death into this conversation to promote “old row”?

If that what OR represents, keep it.
