PSA for any PNM’s on this site
by: Listen up
If any PNM’s are on this site, you need to know a few things:
1. More than half of the posts and comments are from people who don’t go to this school.
2. All houses want to be ranked highly by as many PNM’s as possible during rush because it gives them a better chance at getting the girls they want. Constant self ranking on this site may help a mid tier house convince more girls to rank them higher and give them an advantage during rush. This is especially useful for PNM’s coming from out of state who don’t know much about the houses yet. Just something to think about when you’re on this site.
3. There is prestige associated with old row, they are selective, it’s been that way for a really long time and probably not changing any time soon. But they are not any better, they don’t give you a better experience, the girls aren’t any better, they don’t have more date parties or swaps or anything. New row offers the same amazing Bama Greek experience.
4. Don’t let yourself think any houses are better than others, they aren’t, until you go through rush and actually meet people. Then you can decide for yourself how to rank them and find a home that’s right for you.
5. Final thought- you’re going to meet a lot of girls from oos and oor when you visit old row houses during rush. They don’t keep them chained in the basement or anything.

This is a very honest post. After sophomore year, no one really cares what house you’re in- just as long as you’re a nice person and are happy. I’ve seen OR girlies at Jefferson fraternity date parties (me being one of them) and many NR girlies are OR date parties. And, I’ve studied and partied with girls from other houses.
Go where you see yourself being your best self. But, also go where you see girls dropping off soup and pedialyte to your dorm when you’re sick in bed.
