most important factors?

obvi your conversations, interactions and looks are important but how much weight is put on the other stuff before rush even starts?
like your application video, recs, instagram, etc are houses paying more attention to these things? is this what they'll base the big cuts on? is it likely that you are already cut from some houses before you even step on campus and meet anyone?

This site has gone off the rails lately, and you shouldn’t put much weight in anything you read on here anymore as the site is being over run with bottom tier houses self ranking, but you can believe first round cuts are based on the following:
-Grades! Yes they count. This is college and top organizations have top academic standards. End of story.
-Involvement. Your resume counts. Were you actively involved in various school and community organizations in HS?
-Personality. How you present yourself in your video.
-Social Media. Number of followers is not nearly as important as your content and like above, how you present yourself is important. Top houses aren’t looking for drama. Figure it out.
-Recommendations. Not as important as in the past but still come into play when making cuts.
-Did I mention GRADES???
There’s a house for everyone but since you asked, these are the factors that houses take into consideration when making first round cuts and these are the factors that separate top houses from lower houses regardless of what’s been posted on here lately. Oh, and yes, most girls (not all)will be cut from some houses before they even step foot on campus (based on requirements above) due to the volume of girls that rush at Bama.

I agree with almost everything above ^ EXCEPT that it is bottom-ranked houses on here commenting. I am in what is considered an "Old Row/Top Tier" house and I know that 90% of the comments & rankings are from people who don't even attend school here.
When you actually get to campus and through recruitment you will realize there isn't as much divide between houses/ tiers/ new row & old row as people portray on Greek Rank.
