I knew they wouldn’t put a mic on a girls T-shirt like that. It would just be completely muffled and useless, especially when a girl is sitting with her back against a chair + how loud rush already is. Plus there so many more inconspicuous and nearly undetectable ways to hide a secret mic. No one would ever hide an undercover mic like that. But everyone jumped on me for defending her. I feel for her and hope she gets an apology and a second chance.

People need to stop jumping to conclusions about serious accusations without proof. What Panhellenic did to this poor girl was messed up. Imagine this happening to you during rush and being completely innocent.

I remember this happened and i think she handled it rlly well. I wasn’t sure if she was mic’ed or not bc I low key thought there was a chance but now in hindsight I feel rlly bad 🥺. People were so mean in the comments and she was taking it and was like “I understand why panhellenic needed to take this seriously” and even blaming herself for it all. So sad

Shelby did not wear a microphone into any houses. It was made very clear in the doc and in her TikTok that she did not film during rush.
Why isn’t anyone talking about Isabelle? Because people love to hate on Shelby for whatever reason. It’s ridiculous.

Also wanted to add to say shame on HBO for ruining this girl’s rush!! Why tf didn’t they reach out to panhel once they saw the videos of innocent girls being accused of this? Why not reach out and just be like “hey no one is being mic’ed up.”
Also Rachel Fleit is the most off putting director/human ever… like the way she just asserted herself into this and somehow turned a documentary about bama rush into one centered about her and her life story. So bizarre.
