Which houses takes international students?
by: International studentHi, im an international student from europe rushing in the fall. What houses have students from other countries in them? (+ what countries) Which ones are most likely to be accepting? Is it true that old row wont even consider me?

Fraternity? Sorority? International students are not all that common in Greek life so there is not a more 'international student' house. You certainly can get a bid but your rush depends on how well you present yourself and what your vibe is, just like for anyone else. There is no advantage to old row or new row for you so don't worry about who you think might consider you or not. Everyone gets released from houses, don't take it personally, just move on and focus on the houses that ask you back.

Your European upbringing and outlook may align well with the more Southern houses, and they may see something in you that resonates with them. Don't try to make any sorority's decisions for them ahead of time. "Try" at every house.

Sorority! Thank you for tips:) just got the idea after reading some posts on here that theres no point even trying old row if im not from the south, so cant imagine how they would take someone from outside of the u.s., just want to be prepared if all old row houses will drop me on day 1
