My Advice to PNMs-
by: Rising JuniorI know you’re probably really nervous about rush right now, and if you’re anything like I was, you’ve seen this sight and all the breakdowns of sororities by vibe, grades, reputation, ect and you’re starting to get an idea of what houses you think you want and the houses you don’t think you’d fit in at, and you’re planning your outfits and trying to perfect your open house video/ resume/ short answer questions, and some of you might even be thinking of hiring a rush consultant. I just want to let you know, you’re going to be okay, and the process does work. You don’t need to try to fit the mold of a certain sorority based on what you’ve seen on here, or place all your hopes on your “dream house”. I know it’s gonna work out for you, and you’re going to be so so happy on bid day, and rush is going to be worth it so don’t worry, and just relax. The best advice I can give you is to keep an open mind to every house you visit, and to see the positives in everything. You could run home to any of the houses you’re invited to, so make the most of your conversations with all the girls you get a chance to talk to because one of them could very likely be your big! You’re going to do great, good luck!

This is great advice! All that matters is how you feel at each house, and where you feel most at home.
