Phi Mu girl!!!!
by: wowSo shocked that phi mu girl did the HBO max show. I just don't understand why she would do it. It seems like she loves her sorority so why take a chance on the girls hating on you? It would make more sense for it to be girls who dropped during the rush process or girls who dropped their sorority. Any thoughts?

But any of them that did this has to know to not trust the media even if it was positive they will flip it and spin to make it something else. It's is not going to be a bright light for any girl that did this, it's sad. These girls want to be public figures and digital creators but the one question they must ask will it benefit my sorority as a whole and not just me. When UA Panhellenic was telling everyone not to do they we're trying to protect the entire greek system.

From the clip, it sounded like footage from the summer before she started. We will have to wait and see if there was anything from her later. I remember watching her on tiktok when she went through, and she disappeared midweek, so she may have dropped the project?

I think of she stopped filming before the registered for rush and before signed the UA Panhellenic code of conduct she maybe ok. But if she continued up to rush and during rush for 3 days...mmmmm think there is a problem. Everyone knew not to talk to media all the girls knew hbo might be there. We will see once it's released.

@Really? - I get the impression she was kind of clueless. My guess is she dropped out of the doc about the same time she went radio silent on TT right before Rush. Before then I’m not sure she really understood it was frowned upon.
As an out of state HS student who had been watching Bama sorority members light up TT for the better part of a year, it’s not beyond belief that she might think it would be okay. Especially if her parents weren’t familiar with Greek life.
Sororities have to own their part of this. Pre rush every house was liberally making use of TT & IG to peddle their PR. It’s definitely a do as I say, not as I do sort of situation. Not surprising that girls might have been receiving mixed messages.

Before she posted the TikTok though she posted the doc trailer the day before in her IG stories. Sooo she endorsed it kinda also

And not once in her TT did she ever apologize to the thousands of other girls at Alabama - rushees and in house- whose lives were made a living hell last year and whose lives will be made a living hell again this year because of this. She just mad because it’s not working out the way she thought it would. Made it all about how it affected her.
