It depends on the sorority. You won't be kicked out by any sorority for being on academic probation by the school (I don't think) but my sorority will put you on social probation for a semester and revoke social privileges like going to date parties, drinking at parties if you are allowed to attend, etc if your GPA is too low. In my house, your study hour requirements would also dramatically increase for the semester and you would not be eligible to hold any office or run for any leadership position.

my house doesn’t do study hours but if your GPA is too low you’ll get assigned study hours and you’ll be put on social probation. i had a lot of health issues that impacted my GPA and my academics and standards chair were really understanding so even though i was technically on social probation, they would still allow me to go on most events. especially if i had gotten an A on an exam or paper prior to the event
