Sadly a student died last night

I thought this was a hoax.
I called the University of Alabama and they confirmed a student died last night, I didn’t ask for further information.
I think the reason you can not find a press release is because next of kin have not been notified.

It’s completely fine to talk about this here. It’s not like we met posting crime scene photos.

Also, there’s no way you called the university. They would never confirm or deny something like over the phone to a stranger.

it's fine to post informing people about a student dying, but its not okay to be gossiping and speculating the reason for his or her passing.

I'd like to know why there isn't more news on this? I've only seen on tuscaloosathread.com which seems very strange. Was this a sudden illness as others have states or was some sort of foul play involved?
