Stop it with shein

I’m begging y’all to stop it with the shein. Literally clothes made of fossil fuel. Made by people who make less than a Starbucks order in a day. The production of a sorority house worth of shein increases our emissions more than Taylor swifts private jet. And is based in an evil superpower of a country.
I’m not saying you gotta go buy Gucci (someone which is also China made) or even buy anything at all. But can we have a panhel clothing swap or something? No buy July is passed but can we do no spend September? We gotta change something.

Shein is getting sued for violating RICO, which is the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act. Shein has been illegally copying independant designers' work. Please don't support them, and take this to heart especially if you are coming here as a fashion major or any other major related to design. Imagine your designs copied and mass merchandised by some algorithm without your knowledge or consent, and you don't get a dime or even acknowledgement.
