How does Bama Big/Little work?

So I guess I’m confused as to how Bama big/little works based on Kylan’s most recent reel/post. I’m from a school that does big/little way after big day, where you go on “dates” with some ladies of the pledge above you and then “pref” your big! Based on her caption, does Bama do their big/littles on bid day?

I also wanna know!!! My chapter does sister dates and we have several activities with all eligible bigs. Then we rank top 5 or so bigs we’d want and eligible bigs rank theirs and we get matched up. I can’t understand how bama does it with no say from the new member? And wouldn’t a bunch of girls fight over a new member, like Kylan for example?

She’s talking about a bid day big, or bid day buddy. They’re just temporary to help you for the first 2 weeks or so before you start getting paired with 3-5 other potential bigs. Then we match with one permanently at reveal.
