Bama girls vs OOS

by: Potential PNM

What is this grand appeal the old row houses have for in state bama girls? I mean no shade at all.. genuinely curious from an out of state person’s perspective. Out of state = can afford higher tuition ($$$), girl is better traveled and brings that perspective/higher EQ to the playing field. I would think these girls would be the more desired PNM’s? Old row gives off inbred insular vibes under the guise of being “traditional”

Yep, the hillbilly vibe on old row instate is real. So many people that have never left the state. It’s sad but real.

All OR houses are majority out of state girls. What are you even talking about? Me thinks you don’t know a single OR girl and are just another Zeta pissed that you got beat by AGD. P

The answer is for the in state girls they have a goal of going back to their hometowns and being able to join the local social clubs that are controlled by alumni.

Miss Mam this is Alabama, tradition is all we have, you chose to come here- you know how we like things. Junior league, PTO, & casseroles here we come! 🙄

People on here mad bc old row houses dropped them being oos. It’s just how it works here. But sincerely we are happy you found the new money home of your dreams! Pan love 💕

I'm dying of secondhand embarrassment for you.

If your houses are full of 19-21 year olds worried about Junior League, PTO and casseroles, I can see why NR houses are rising.

POTENTIAL New Member,

Your original post was very insulting to in state PNM’s

Stay away from Old Row if it gives you insular inbred vibes.

The fact that you are paying Out of State tuition in no ways makes you superior or more desired.

The U of A has many students that are 4th and 5th generation students. We know the quality of the Alabama experience.

And sadly, you have probably been welcomed to the University with lots of warmth, hope you learn to appreciate your welcome!
