I’d go ddd if you’re fun and are smart but not only concerned about grades.
I’d go xo if you’re more grades focused and less outgoing.

xo might be slightly less into partying than ddd as a whole, but let’s not act like that means they aren’t outgoing and fun lmao. there are tons of girls in xo who love going out, they just happen to care about grades/involvement too.

considering that the first post in this thread to say anything remotely negative about the other sorority mentioned was presumably from a tri delt, you may want to rethink who you’re saying is pressed. can’t start an argument, become upset that you’re getting more downvotes, and then try to claim the other side is the one who’s angry 🤍

I would not recommend suiciding. If neither of the houses have you in their first bid list then you won’t even be eligible to be a quota addition. If you’re not interested in aopi, politely tell them that you don’t see them as a the house for you.

Honestly yes, tell them you don’t see them as the right fit. It’ll pretty much guarantee that you’ll be lower on their list because no house WANTS to give bids to a girl that doesn’t want to be there and will likely drop after bid day. I wish you luck!

Thanks for that advice - i really like AOPi but just don’t see myself there and I don’t have it in me to be rude. Others in my group have no problem being rude but I want no part of that - everyone’s been telling me to just be unfriendly in order to get dropped.

Yes, don’t be rude. But just say that you feel more of a connection at another house. Something like how you appreciate them for giving you the time to talk about values, beliefs, etc. DONT be rude. It can come back to haunt you. Make sure you’re clear with DDD about your intent to rank them number 1. Just be tactful!:)

Definitely tell ddd that you 100% want to be there on bid day and then tell aopi that you’re still not sure., you’re conflicted. That way ddd puts you higher and aopi puts your lower.

Don’t be rude. Don’t burn bridges. After bid day none of it matters. Being Greek is all that matters. You can say you are conflicted. But don’t ever mention other houses in conversation. There is more chatter between houses than you can imagine.

I’d choose Zeta over Phi Mu any day of the week but that’s just me (I’m not into their vibe as much, too stuck up)

Both houses are great for your 4 years at bama. Go wherever you feel at home! Though if you’re looking for somewhere with a bigger national reputation and that’s on the rise I’d go with zeta. If you’re more of an OR southern belle vibe and are gonna stay in Alabama or are from here I would say Phi mu. Both are really good choices though!
