a phi's are all over this site they suck

if you’re actually a pnm, trust the process and go with your gut. no one talks about old row this new row that. this chapter had a scandal, this chapter is drinking during rush. the whole university attacks each other during rush and u have to realize there are a lot of trolls on this site to make ppl look bad. remember the houses that ppl talk bad about during rush are usually the best houses because ppl r jealous and upset they’re doing well so they try to bring them down.

I don’t agree with what their nationals do (recruit only based on looks) or even what SOME of their past and current members do, but you can’t deny the double standard people have with them.

If you have any other option besides Alpha Phi, take the other option. They have a terrible reputation on campus and you will get dirty looks if you’re wearing their letters. Their sisterhood is similar to Zeta - lots of drama, in-fighting and girls sleeping with other girls boyfriends.

Sorority life is to expensive and too short to waste it in Alpha Phi. If you want a house that’s trying to focus on looks/social events consider GPhi or DZ if you don’t have PM, PBP or ZTA anymore. If you’re more focused on grades/involvement, look at ADPi, AOPi, DG or Theta. If you have no other option, SK is building itself up quickly and would probably be a better option than APhi.

No one is trying to “take down” Alpha Phi. That house has managed to take itself down. We’re just trying to give the PNMs real insight into what that house is all about. If you’re about to drop all this money on sororities and invest a ton of time with your new sisters, we want to make sure they have the full picture of what Alpha Phi is and what they stand for.

So really other than what you read on this dumb app , watch on tick tock or google you have idea who these women are.

APhi is fine. Just like with any house, go in with your eyes open. APhi not a house that focuses on grades. There’s some drama, but that could be said about almost any sorority at Bama. Most of the girls are pretty and there are pros/cons to being in a house that prioritizes appearance.

Personally, I would say go APhi unless grades are a high priority for you. I’m not saying there are no APhis with good grades, but it doesn’t seem to be much of a priority for that house. It could be harder to focus on school as an APhi, but not impossible.
