I went to preview not knowing any of the sororities' reptuations or ranks or whatever (I'm looking them up right now obviously) and here's my opinion:

Good:
-KD's video was entertaining and made them seem like really fun girls
-Chi Omega was very relaxed, funny, and not as serious as the others which was a nice break
-Alpha Phi and Phi Beta Phi made great impressions by being genuinely nice and interested in our conversations instead of the superficial feel I got from other houses.

Bad:
-Kappa Kappa Gamma wasn't necessarily bad, but the girl I spoke too didn't seem interested in me at all and I was definetly leading the conversation and asking her basic questions rather than the other way around.
-Tri Delta could have been better because it was so loud and the girl I was paired with spoke so quietly I gave up asking asking her to repeat herself and just nodded along.

It doesn't seem like the two houses were bad, just a wrong pairing. Keep an open mind for Recruitment.

My top three (in no order) were Phi Mu, Tri Delta, and Alpha Chi Omega.
I really wanted to like ZTA as I love their philanthropy but the girl I spoke to couldn't hold a conversation at all. They were all wonderful sororities though and I can't wait until rush week!

I can't believe PNMs in high school have the NERVE to post on a GREEK SITE and say who their favorite and least favorites were and say negative things about certain houses. How rude and immature. This website isn't for you I don't know how many people have to say it before you stay off of it. That is so insulting, better hope your attitude and decision making skills mature by August. Ugh

preview weekend is for the PNM's to see what the sororities are about, girls in the sororities already have the names of the girls they want. The girls couldn't possibly make a positive impression in the amount of time you were in their house .

Preview day was so much fun! Every house did such a great job and had such sweet girls I would be happy to be in any one of them! Thanks to all the actives for giving us such a great first experience with UA Greek life!
