Hey my fellow sophomore rushing

by: Class of 25

So I didn't have a great freshman rush. TBH my GPA and general resume was pretty lacking. I had a decent year last year and made some friends in different houses who all said the same kinda thing, "you should rush next year!", "Omg you'd totally fit in to our house" and so go. So I thought all of that plus a freshman GPA of 4.0 I'd have a really good rush. Uhhhhh half of the houses I have "friends" in aren't even in the schedule. I can't talk to them about it obvi but I'm just hurt.
Any other upperclassmen having a similar experience?

You need to find some new friends. If they were true friends you wouldn’t have gotten dropped so soon. Sorry

Disagree. There are 400 girls in each house. If you have a few friends in each house, that’s not going to be enough to get you through to the next round. Being a sophomore puts you at a disadvantage to begin with so don’t blame your friends. Having a few friends in a house is no guarantee you’ll get a bid.
