Surprise Houses I Liked
by: QuestionsI was kinda upset this morning that the top 4 houses I liked didn't invite me to philanthropy round. However, I really liked some of the houses I didn't really think about until today like Gphi, Theta and DZ. I'm really excited. Anyone else surprised by some houses? Good and bad?

I am sure they know a bit about you. I am sure they will talk to you and make you fell welcomed despite of your behavior. Do not expect be invited back for further rounds though.

My grandma, mom, and other family members were all DG's at various different campuses. I didn't disclose all the affiliations I have because I didn't want other houses to think I was for sure going DG. I didn't like DG yesterday and don't think I want them. If I get invited the next round, what do I do to get off their invite list? I won't be rude. Also, my mom is going to freak.

yeah definitely don’t be rude, i would be nice as you normally would be. it’s better to have them as an option at the end than to not have them at all. if enough of your top houses take you back you won’t have them in future rounds anyways

Don’t worry. I am sure that was a mutual feeling and DG doesn’t consider legacies anymore for a special treatment. So it is very likely you will not see them on your schedule anymore. They are not stupid or dump you know.

You need to go and chose where you feel the most at home. Where you see yourself there, and where you think you can make lifelong friends. I know it’s hard when you have a family legacy to a sorority, but if you don’t see yourself there you need to be honest with yourself. ITS YOUR EXPERIENCE not your family’s. Just don’t mark them high when you are ranking your preferences.

This was a positive post about houses girls liked. Way to turn it negative. Hoping you are a troll and not an actual PNM. If you are a PNM with that entitled attitude I am sure DG dropped you after yesterday already.

If you don’t feel it you don’t feel it. There is no drama. As someone said it before legacies get the same treatment as everyone else. Don’t expect them to fight or cry over you if you didn’t show any interest. Tell them in your politest way that you appreciate them but don’t see yourself in this house. iF you will be invited back.

DZ, Piphi, and ADpi are my favorites so far. I also liked Gphi, Theta, and DG. I think I could be happy in any of these houses! I went to PM today and though they would be my favorite but I talked to a really quiet girl for the longest time who barely said anything and then I only met one other girl for a short time. I assume that's a bad sign for me so I am not hanging on to hope that I will get invited back to that house.

I visited Aopi yesterday and they were fine. I didn't get any kind of feeling from them- good or bad.
