Literally not at all lol. The only ones who care are 50+ year olds who want their daughters to go oLd RoW. There are 3-4 other houses (new row) with girls who are prettier, have way more fun, and are invited to more social events. Go wherever you want

Because getting into a house with 'prettier' girls will make you prettier.

You should worry 0% about being in a OR house unless you were hoping to marry a DKE🤣.
I’m in NR and after recruitment is over, nobody gives a damn. Big surprise, frat guys care of you are cute and fun and not your letters. You’ll get into all the same parties you would have if you were OR. The Greek system here is top notch for everyone in it. Don’t stress.

Rather, pick a house where you will fit in and meet your besties because those friendships will make all the other stuff- darties, swaps, formals, etc. fun. Don’t try to be someone you aren’t and some of the top OR houses are filled with the mean girls from their Southern high school….which, fits some PNMs.

don’t be worried about it at all, be more focused on finding the house u are most comfortable with because u will be spending most of your college life within that sorority and with those ppl.

It matters as much as you want it to matter. GR isn’t very indicative of Greek life. The truth is girls are often close friends with girls in other houses they meet through their major, the dorm, etc.
