What’s the deal with sororities not on row

okay so SDT and ADX among others at bama are panhellenic sororities so why are they not with the other sorority houses and don’t participate in formal recruitment??

ADX is an associate member of Panhellenic. Since they're not an NPC sorority and they conduct their own recruitment, they don't have full voting privileges.

SDT is a full member of Panhellenic but usually opts out of formal with their national's permission. They did virtual formal in 2020, but that was at the height of the pandemic and they weren't sure if they would have a chance to hold their own events later on.
