DKE vs. SAE. What's the difference and why are the considered the best two fraternities on campus?

people like you are always stirring sh@t, that's why. It's not enough to be in a fraternity for some guys, you have to cut, tear and mouth-off about the ones you feel threatened by.

All fraternities have good and bad members. These two, along with KA, seem to be the subject of fascination by most.

at how folks still perceive DKE as #1 at UA.

SAE is better since we've been here, and KA is better tahn either in every way. Would also put EN, Phi Gam and OX clearly ahead of DKE.

And get this .... I'd rather be EX, DX, Pi Kapp or Beta than DKE.

People hate on the best, everyone wants to know the secrets and what all goes on at the DKE house. Once the best always the best.

is the best at Bama by far. Not only that, but DKE is at the top on a NATIONAL scale. Everywhere you go, people recognize DKE. Go anywhere outside of the Southern states and KA either doesn't exist or has a negative image that you wouldn't want to share amongst others. To conclude, DKE is #1.

"The past is never dead. It's not even past." The truth of the matter, Animal Mother, is that DKE and SAE are and have always been top 2 at the University of Alabama. KA is and has always been #3. Thats the way it is, the way it has always been, and the way it will always be. It's an Alabama tradition...........since way before yo daddy. was. even. born.

DKE has 50 chapters nationally, and a lot of them aren't even that great. They aren't recognized as as the #1 fraternity in the US by any means. DKE doesn't have a presence on many campuses, and while you have important chapters at places like Yale, Bama, UNC and Berkeley, they aren't at that many schools and still have some pretty average or below average chapters..

The only people who still say DKE is number one are DKEs. There is no clear number one, but DKE is clearly not number one.
