Re your IG
We do notice when you have bought followers and it is discussed. You can post travel and glamour pics, but if you have 7-10K followers and only a dozen or so comments on a pic it just does not add up.

Yes but chapters are getting smarter about this because these girls drop out a lot. No chapter can afford to waste a bid on dead weight. There are so many beautiful girls who aren't so shallow and actually want to participate.

Pageant girls are highly desired because they are the type to be degree-focused and involved in their chapters. Their membership reflects well on their houses and on their sororities in general. Nobody cares about their followers.

Do you really believe in chapters getting smarter? They are smart, they have been recruiting women for decades. They do know who will be on their bid lists.
Your opinion doesn’t count, chapters have the final vote and they have a huge community to check your background and definitely they did. Well most of them.

Slow down @Yikes. First, there has not been social media for decades so this is a new frontier for rush, especially TikTok, and chapters are navigating their way in the new landscape. Second, the actives in the chapters haven't been recruiting for decades, and the sophomores haven't even been through on the other side yet. They are always woefully ignorant and have a lot of mistaken assumptions so the sophomores are the ones who can screw it up for their chapter. Third, no they don't have bid lists now, only pnm's of interest, and interest has never equated to being carried all the way to pref. Fourth, there ARE a lot of unknown girls coming through that background is harder to check and recs are not anything like reliable. IDK where you're coming from but you are way out of touch and there is a learning curve and adaptation happening in all chapters now like never before, and very little real alumnae experience to rely on for it. It sounds like your opinion is the one that doesn't count. Yes, chapters are getting smarter about how to rush NOW.

There are pnm lists of interest now and not firm bid lists. Interest list changes frequently as info comes in. Actives do not have experience they fully need for this process and there is much to learn every recruitment period. With nearly 3000 pnms it is really tough to find solid info on every single pnm. Many great pnms are those that are under-the-radar because they are not vested in TikTok or IG. Not every pnm wants to be fully involved in social media.

Not calling any pnms out by name, but it is virtually impossible to have a network of followers like countless Bama pnms do at 18. Sorry pnms you are not all that. Congrats on buying followers.

Actives are guilty of this as well. 10K or 15K followers and hardly anyone posts a comment on their pic. They're so popular and yet lucky if they get a few hundred likes. I have seen people with 300-500 followers and they have more comments and likes on a pic.

Just a heads up most moms are clueless about IG and don't know anyone can buy followers.
