Dear PNMs: listen to your heart during rush

When I went through rush I had been on greekrank all summer long and knew all the negativity surrounding each house. When it came down to pref I had two houses that I really loved, one that I wanted even before rush and one that had surprised me because I thought I really wouldn't like them based on what I heard on this website. I ended up going with the house I loved initially because I got in my head thinking about what I heard on greekrank and how I wouldn't fit in with the girls in the other house. I regret my decision. I still love the house I ended up in but I wish I had chosen the other one because I think I would be more involved and have more friends.
Bottom line: go with your gut. Don't listen to what anyone else says because at the end of the day it's your 4 years. Talk to your rho chis or your friends if you’re unsure, but don't let anyone, especially greekrank, talk you out of a house you love.
