AXO, XO, KKG, PHI MU, ZTA (no rank in the order)
AGD, ADPI, KD, PI PHI
APHI
DZ, GPHI
AOPI, DG
KAO, SK
Literally when it comes down to it there's good desirable houses who will have stronger academics, sisterhood, social scene, etc. not saying all of them have all these qualities but the ones that have generally been better are: AXO, AGD, ADPI, XO, KKG, KD, PI PHI, PHI MU, ZTA (no rank in the order)
Bottom line with these, someone will want these houses over other ones- just depends on the type of girl. Obvi some houses on this list are better than others, but these are all well seen houses.
APHI is desired to a certain type of girl.
DZ & GPHI are similar to APHI but don't have the same pull.
AOPI, DG are still good houses just not as strong as the houses above. KAT & SK have been working hard and have been getting stronger pc's, but again just not on that same level as others.

When it someone breaks it down to stronger houses vs chapters with issues in an objective view this list would def be wrong. Some houses like GPhi and Aphi struggle with membership and retention. They are somehow desired but not strong compared to other chapters like XO or PM.

Gphi and Aphi have similar type of girls. Both houses for some reason have drama year after year. This past Aphi class was great - hopefully they can improve things. Same as Gphi, but their executive board didn't do much about a girl that was online bullying another.

KD is only desired by a specific type of girls, aka those from mb or mobile, but other than that they aren’t widely desired by pnms across the board

Not on same levels as aphi, pi phi, agd, kd.
At same level as dz and gphi or below.

agreed!!! adpi down fr. they’re a solid house but lets not pretend that any pnms come into rush wanting them ……
at least KD has girls who want them before and during rush!

They are at the same level as DZ and GPhi.

Pi Phi & ADPi down a level each.
Both of those groups have alums sitting on this site all day - every day.
ZTA needs to be moved down one level too. No one picks ZTA over Phi Mu for example.

First of all, not all pick Phi Mu over Zeta - believe it or not, many love Zeta.
Also, enough of the PiPhi/Adpi comments. Many girls from the north love these houses. Not everyone only wants Phi Mu /XO/AXO. Times have changed over the last four years.

Sorry, but no one picks Zeta over Phi Mu. You go Zeta because you were dropped by Phi Mu. Just like how no one picks Alpha Phi. You go APhi because you were dropped by Zeta, which means you were also dropped by Phi Mu.

I know MANY that preferred Zeta over Phi Mu. Phi Mu is a bit too southern for many. You obviously have no idea what you are talking about.

girls do pick aphi, theta, kappa over phi mu and zta. they are so weak in most of the us that no one wants to go home and say they joined those.
some will take even pi phi over phi mu and zta for the same reason.

This is pretty good. Although...I would put the missing DDD on the third line not the second. Last couple of years have been poor for them. They are hanging on to old rep. But sisterhood is lacking as they grab whoever (in COB and Snap) they can to keep up numbers.

Thus is an accurate rank.tired of trolls saying X is preferred over Y. Not necessarily...some do pick certain houses over another. Some do desire PiPhi over PhiMu, ADPi over ADG, Zeta over everything. .some houses,such as AZO,XO,KD and Kappa are houses desired by some girls since the 8th grade.

I'm a Theta and I ranked them higher than Aopi, DG, Gphi and DZ during the entire recruitment week. I know this is also crazy based on all the stuff on GR about who is top but I liked Theta and DZ more than PM after sisterhood parties. I didn't know anything about Bama rush or rankings so I just went in blind and ranked based on what I experienced at parties. Southern girls in my group told me I was being stupid because Theta was a bottom house. I spent a lot of time on the phone with my Rho Chis because I didn't want to make a mistake. They both encouraged me to follow my heart. I did and I really have no regrets. I guess I'm in a bottom house based on all these ranks but I have made a really great group of friends in my pledge class from all over the country, have had a blast going to a ton of date parties, darties, and formals, and can't wait to move into my house this year. I'm sure a lot of girls in other houses feel the same way. I now know girls in most of the houses and I think I could have been happy in DZ or Gphi too. PM was not me (a great house but just not me). My roommate accepted a bid from a top house based on GR standards and dropped before Initiation because her experience was so bad. I wish that was called out more. Anyway, I get really frustrated with the constant bashing of bottom houses on GR. My friends in my pledge class would not be considered bottom by any standards. Just had to vent.

The trolls and maybe some weird moms don't want to hear this. They only want to see us tear each other down so they post things that will incite girls to do that. If you are on this campus, you know that once recruitment is over, very few of us actually care who is in what house. Nobody gets more or less popular because of the house they are in. It's not high school. Sorry trolls.
