High Stat PNM2022
by: nocalWhat house(s) tend to pick up the girls with 5.0+ gpas and national merit finalists/semi finalists. Do houses really care about that? Say the pnm has a solid resume, can communicate, and attractive as well.

I was in the same boat as you!! Like someone else said, all houses have girls with high gpas and not so high gpas. Everyone wants smart girls! So honestly that just puts you in a better position to get the house you want. Tbh most national merit scholars i know don’t rush bc they had really hard majors and mainly focused on school

If you are one of these girls- you aren’t guaranteed a bid anywhere, no one is, you still need to try during rush ect ect however, if you are getting back a good number of houses and are looking for a house that’s moreso a networking opportunity than a social one I feel like you might be interested in Chi O (has tons of members in SGA, and always had the most girls inducted into the 31), Alpha Gam (might not be for you if you are into partying or aren’t southern Baptist, but has girls on exec boards of most clubs/ organizations on campus), or alpha chi (Not as involved on campus as the other two but still has a high average gpa). That being said, there’s girls in SGA/ CMW/ ect and who make Presidents List in every sorority on campus!

#10by: Grades
If being in a house that cares about academics is important to you just look up the semester reports on the Panhellenic website. Some people post them here too. You can go back a few semesters and see what house are consistently top in grades. It’s a good mix of houses from every “tier.”

You obviously don't attend UA. We have one of the largest groups of National Merit Finalists in the nation, they get almost a full ride and our honors programs are amazing. Why would they not come here?
