To the incoming freshman class - here is the truth - Phi Mu and Zeta are top of the top. Then AXO, Chi, DDD, PiPhi, ADPi, AGD, and DZ.
KD and KKG are high school all over again.
APhi will rebuild.

This is an accurate rank. Aphi did have problems with their older girls. I'm not Aphi, but my bf is. Love all her friends. Rising sophomores have some great girls that are committed to building this house.

These are the current revelent houses. I like a lot of girls in Aphi - just last years executive was poor.

I do agree with this - different rankings depending where you are from. Most desire PM and Zeta as top choices. The next listed are all solid houses. Houses at UA are superior compared to anywhere. Alabama and other southern girls aim for KD and Kappa, and a few for PM.

Thank you for asking. I am a rising senior, so I have some experience and am friends with girls in many houses. Imo I feel the most well rounded, grades, involvement, social activities, and the most important - a genuine sisterhood without high drama. I'm sure I will be attacked because of Zeta, but the past two classes have been stellar.

Zeta is only a top house to about 10% of pnms. Most girls don’t want the “orange Cheeto spray tan, hair extension, stripper nails look” house.
The top houses are the ones that have it all - high academic standards, involved on campus, busy social calendar with good fraternities, lots of date parties and events, a strong, reliable sisterhood and networking if you’re interested in campus politics or exclusive honor societies.
These houses are (in alphabetical order):
AXO, AGD, ADPi, DDD, KD, KKG, PBP, PM, XO
AOPi, DG, DZ and GPB are also great choices, but each is lacking in a specific area. AOPi and DG aren’t as social as other houses and GPB isn’t as focused on academics or sisterhood. DZ is a decent mix but struggle with getting top pnms.
Theta has a good sisterhood, but isn’t as social. SK is still building but they’re getting stronger every year. APhi is social, but needs to improve grades and quality of the girls they take. And they desperately need a break from scandals.

ADPi is a good house. There’s a definite drop off between them and the tier below them. Are they as good as Old Row? No. But are they better than AOPi/DZ/GPB/DG/APhi? Absolutely.

Thus was quite harsh against Zeta?.Cheeta orange? Stripper nails? How old are you? I actually go to UA and do not see the girls there as "stripper - like." Many are trendy and attractive. There were quite a few girls that graduated this year with red hats. Time to evolve granny..

I'm from out of state and I can say a lot of girls desired Zeta going thrunthis years recruitment. Kind of harsh with your description...there are plenty of overly tan girls in all houses.

NOBODY in real life thinks ADPI is a tier “above” those houses. In reality, adpi is very irrelevant compared to alpha phi, gphi, dz and on the same level as aphi. They attract completely different girls but aren’t above them at all when it comes to recruitment. gphi isn’t fully a looks house but has prettier and more fun girls than adpi. i see no difference between adpi/dz/dg in terms of looks. Social relevancy aphi is blowing them out the water and gphi/dz have caught up. Adpi are such self ranking queens it’s so embarrassing 🤣🤣 zeta, pi phi, aphi, and now gphi have WAY better social calendars than you.

Yeah, I would include Theta as an option. They are way more social than ever before (last two pledge classes) and I know they are focusing on recruiting more social girls again.

Ok....truth is girls want Phi Mu or Zeta. Full stop. You might not like it, but it's 2022 and these things always change. I see 'orange' girls in every house. Top is defined by what people want. They want to be in a house with pretty girls, and have a reputation for being the most attractive. As shallow as it sounds- that's life in general.

As a junior - I agree with the OP. The past few days of hate and insults is sad. I don't know if these trolls are miserable Moms, but I doubt they are reflective of greek life - at least not the girls I surround myself with. The awful things being posted is disappointing.

There are a lot of harsh comments on here. I doubt these are from any actives as thus isn't a reflection of anyone I know or anyone I want to know. All of these houses are great houses. My advice to the incoming freshmen is to look around the room and decide if you can see yourself with the group of girls. Not just the active they have you matched up with.

Thank you! I am a senior and I have only met one Chi-O at a Formal in NOLA. They are never out, never at date parties, darties, formals, etc.

How many times do you think Aphi will or can rebuild? They are having scandals since they started, are always having the smallest senior class, are always claiming that they are hot and respected (thats their fun facts) and social and whatever. YAWN. They put on a good recruitment but loose 50% of their PC during the first year. Damn get your sh.. together and stop lying.
