New member drops
by: WonderingIs there any information for pnms on how many new members drop each sorority? I realize there are a ton of reasons to drop. But I still think it would be good information to have.

Really can't see a single reason why anyone needs this information. Go through the process with any open mind. See how you feel as your week progresses. See which orgs are positive about you and which you feel the same in return. Run to your home. Choose your org for the right reasons and not for any statistic or gossip. All that matters is how you feel and not how many pnms drop.

Thanks Panda! That is what I was looking for! And sorry, I am not a troll. I am a real PMN. I know this is a terrible place to get information...but a lot of PNMs do look here! Panda thank you for putting out the actual real information! Yes...I hope to go through recruitment and run to my home. I am just the type of person that like to learn as much info as I can.

@Wondering - you’re welcome and please ignore the negativity on here. All the Greek reports are public information that anyone can access. It doesn’t make any chapter look bad. It’s good to look around the Alabama Panhellenic site as it has a ton of good information. Good luck in rush!!

hmmmm I see. To me, I’m just always interested in information and data and usually I feel that these questions lead to some good discussion. That’s why I answered it. You could flip this around and look at in another way- and say that the chapters with the most resilience are the ones that have fought through the last couple of years. I think some chapters have had a lot more of a challenge than others. Personally, I am not in a chapter with high retention and we are not a top tier but there have been some real opportunities that came out of that. I also feel like it has prepared us for the real world in ways nothing else could. There’s nothing easy about recruitment or retention. At any rate, I’ll stop responding on this. Consider yourself heard. I apologize. But I have respect for all the chapters.

Be sure to ask your question in person on the first day of rush. I addition, ask each sister you speak to, on a scale of 1-10 how they would rate their experience, and make sure they qualify their rank with reasons they chose that number, See how well it goes over.
