Rec Letters for PNMs

Is 1 rec letter for the houses enough or should you get 2? I’m getting mixed signals on how important recs are this year.

While recs are no longer required, they do still help. They only really make a difference when a house is on the fence in a tie-breaker situation, and sometimes the pnm with the rec will edge out a pnm that doesn't. One per house is good; don't knock yourself out to get two unless it's easy for certain houses. You may know that Phi Mu no longer accepts them at all. More important is to keep your social media clean and follow all houses, and be nice to everyone you meet at Bama.

Always get two - just in case one person drops the ball you are guaranteed to have a rec letter in for each house except for Phi Mu.

Are each of the letters supposed to come from an alum of that sorority? How do I find that many people from each one?

Letters are supposed to come from alums of each sorority. However, some sororities let actives write them. Some people have their mothers post to Facebook asking for people they know to write ones for their daughter.
