Fall 2021 Grade Report

Since everyone is so busy posting drama, thought it might be good to post something factual for diversity sake. You’re welcome.

The following sororities had top grades this fall:
1. Alpha Gamma Delta
2. Alpha Chi Omega
3. Chi Omega
4. Delta Gamma
5. Pi Beta Phi
6. Phi Mu
7. Kappa Delta
8. Delta Delta Delta
9. Alpha Delta Pi
10. Kappa Kappa Gamma
In addition, the above houses were all above APA/All Sorority average at Alabama.

The following houses were below APA/All Sorority Average at Alabama:
11. Alpha Omicron Pi
12. Delta Zeta
13. Zeta Tau Alpha
14. Gamma Phi Beta
However, it should be noted that above 13 houses were all above All Undergraduate Women Average:

The below houses however were below both All Sorority Average and All Undergraduate Women Average at Alabama:
15. Kappa Alpha Theta
16. Alpha Phi
17. Sigma Kappa

Some other data taken from the fall report helps understand the success or trends in last summer’s recruitment results for houses.

The following houses had a pledge class with an equal or higher gpa than their actives:
Alpha Gamma Delta
Alpha Chi Omega
Pi Beta Phi
Kappa Delta
Zeta Tau Alpha
Alpha Phi
This would indicate that these houses had a relatively successful result last recruitment, relative to their houses.

These houses had the most significant drop in average gpa for their new members, in comparison to actives:
(These are in no order)
Delta Gamma, Alpha Omicron Pi, Kappa Alpha Theta

This would not necessarily indicate that these houses were unsuccessful last summer. It might indicate that these houses were looking not just for grades, in their pledge class last summer. They might have been trying to change their culture or image in seeking other types of recruits besides just grades. \n\n\n\n\n

Nice info and congrats to all for hard work!

I really hope everyone is enjoying their org and not wrapping their head around gpa stats and rankings. Life is too short.

So ZTA & Aphi recruited smarter girls in their new PCs. Good for them. Interesting to see KATs PC being a lot less smart than their actives but it makes sense since they are trying to rebrand and take more social girls.

APhi lost again > 28% of their fall 21 pledge class, had to COB and r ecruited some new ones, will lose again over 85 girls over summer and will recruit again > 165 NM vs ~ 125 NM

I wrote the ^^ comment but I didn’t write the comment I responded to. So I didn’t call anyone average or insult anyone. At the time I wrote that the comment Interesting only had downvotes. I also read Interesting’s comment not as calling DGs class average but just using the wording from the post, that their new member class had a gpa below their average gpa. That’s not an insult, it’s comparing 2 numbers. Perfectly acceptable to see a comment praising two houses only getting down voted and calling it out.

In comparison to the guys, the girls are geniuses.

The fraternity’s grades generally trend lower than the all university male averages.

Why is ZTA usually ranked so high when most of them are dummies. You ladies need to get off your knees, wipe the nut off your face and get studying. Can’t turn a hose into a housewife and you can’t cook or clean so you’re gonna need to get jobs in the real world.

Not that is matters but ADPi and Kappa are tied and AOPi and DZ are tied. So they should share the same "rank" on the list.

definitely reinforces the notion that houses w more in state houses tend to have higher membership/retention rates

(not a good/bad thing. Out of state girls are potentially paying way more to attend bama so understandable that they are more likely to drop)
