Why are old row sororities irrelevant now?

I came to bama in the fall expecting old row houses to be the main focus of Greek life, but it seems as the new row sororities are the only ones relevant? Nobody talks about old row sororities anymore, and the only thing about them is that they are considered old row. They have been recruiting bad pledge classes that get worse and worse each year while new row sororities are the only ones frats care about? All the prettier girls join new row and I just wasn’t expecting it. Of course all sororities at bama are great (except theta and sk) but old row sororities just aren’t as good as they used to be and without the history behind them would be considered bottom tier...

This is silly. Even removing the OR factor from the sorority rankings, many of the OR houses will still be at or near the top. What has changed, however, is they are no longer exclusively at the top. Same with the fraternities.

Stop hating on Theta. Their last 2 pledge classes were good. They're creeping up and that is scaring the s&@t out of some of you.

Theta and SK provide amazing homes for hundreds of girls. Hell even SDT and ADX have girls that are having great experiences!
