My house isn't even on this list and we all know that ZTA is above KD and way above AGD.

ZTA is definitely above KD and easily above AGD

PM, KKG, AXO are top. Until ZTA can steal top southern OOS girls, they aren’t on the same level. I do think OR hates ZTA and not Aphi bc they don’t compete with them. ZTA poses more of a threat to the other OR houses and the ones of above them just find them annoying. I think other NR houses hate Aphi bc despite scandals, they still are on par with ZTA when it comes to social popularity. So maybe OR does hate them both bc they’re the only two that swap with OR houses like DKE 😂

Like girls from FL, GA? What other states?? Are those THE sought after girls for all houses? As in, if you don’t attract them, you’re not a top house? What?

You know what I meant. There are always top girls every year from the south that are the entire package that every house wants badly. They usually always end up OR. When ZTA can take one of those girls and make the others start sweating, then they’ll be top of top. Just appealing to pretty girls OOR who may drop, transfer, are grade risks, etc. don’t make you top.

I get so annoyed when OOR girls are constantly associated with being “grade risks.” Give me a break. A lot of us decided to attend this campus because of the extremely large merit scholarships the university offered to us because of our grades and ACT scores. The university is actually paying a lot of us to attend the school. Why would the university do that? Because it needs to attract more smart OOR kids so it can actually elevate its academic rankings. I just have to laugh every time some Southern girl or mom tries to connect OOR girls with being grade risks. Use any other excuse for not giving bids to OOR girls other than grades because that excuse is a goddamn joke.

Exactly. AGD has had a larger percentage of OOR girls in their last 2 pledge classes than they historically have because they want the girls with the very top grades. They are now taking a beating by OR for having 2 bad pledge classes and slipping in the ranks.

You’re trying to advocate for ZTA but unknowingly proving my point. The top OOR girls that are full package - pretty, involved, etc. that every house wants will go OR. So yes, AGD has a ton now because they want the best of the best girls that also have top grades. ZTA attracts a lot of OOR girls that are grade/rep risks and are cut from OR. Look at the grade report! So how would ZTA be top if the girls they get are cut from OR? Yes, there are some girls ZTA may have snagged from OR but it’s definitely not enough to say they’re a top of the top house. The houses that want the different types of ZTA girls are NR.

Yes a lot are OOS but WHERE geographically? The south. It’s a SOUTHERN school why is any of this a surprise? Also the reason a lot of OR doesn’t go for a ton of OOR girls unless they’re full package or fit in is because a lot of those girls drop their sorority, transfer to another school, don’t have the best grades and are more here to party, etc. Which is all ok! The point is though if OR wanted those girls they could have them, they choose not to. ZTA wants girls that go OR apart of their PCs, you can literally see them in those PNMS IG comments.You can also literally see in the grade report and the yearly COB the struggles ZTA has vs OR sororities. That’s just reality. You can scream and point to their girls IG followers and pretty aesthetics all day long, but they aren’t a top house. At best, they are top of NR. Now find something better to do, outsider Stan.

The real point is only the preferences of Southern girls matter. Until more Southern girls want Zeta, it’s never going to be top. Even though the number of OOR girls is increasing every year, none of the Southern girls or their mamas want to hear it and the houses that give almost all of their bids to Southern girls will remain at the top to those Southern girls and their mamas.
OR is not handling the fact that not every PNM wants their houses anymore. It’s why they hate Zeta, in particular.

Whatever helps you sleep at night lol. Im sure OR is crying that they didn’t pledge the girls that brings zeta to the bottom of the grade report and makes them COB every year.

People are eager to dismiss ZTA as not Southern enough -- tacky and superficial and lacking in substance. But remember that ZTA is the third oldest continuously active house on campus. That kind of longevity and rich history counts for something.
